Welcome to Lemonvite
Hey, I'm the guy in my friend group who somehow always ends up organizing the birthday dinners and the "we should really get together more often" cookouts. I've got two kids, a full-time job, and a weird obsession with making sure events actually run smoothly.
I built Lemonvite because I was tired of the existing options. The websites felt clunky, the templates looked dated, and I was paying premium prices for invitations that still came out generic. At one low point I was tracking RSVPs in a spreadsheet by hand (yes, I actually did that, don't judge).
I wanted something that worked as fast as I think, looked as good as I imagined, and didn't require my guests to download yet another app or remember yet another password, so I built it myself.
Why I Went Digital-Only
Between my kids' activities, work deadlines, and attempting to have a social life, I needed invitations that:
- Arrive instantly. Not sitting at the post office for days.
- Track themselves. I want to know who's coming without texting everyone individually.
- Live on phones. That's where my friends and I actually see things.
- Don't kill trees. My son is at that age where he notices, and honestly, he's right.
