Turn Your Canva Designs IntoInvitations With RSVP
You already designed it in Canva. Import it straight into Lemonvite — no downloading files, no email attachments — then send a real digital invitation that tracks every RSVP for you.
Skip the download-and-reupload dance
Canva makes the design. Lemonvite gets it to your guests and tracks who is coming. Importing connects the two without a single file leaving your computer.
The old way
- Export the design as a file
- Find it in your downloads
- Re-upload it somewhere to send
- Text or email it to each guest by hand
- Track replies in a spreadsheet or group chat
With Lemonvite import
- Click the design — it imports instantly
- Add text layers if you want them
- Send by text or email in one go
- Watch RSVPs land on your dashboard
- See who opened their invite
How it works
Four steps from Canva to sent
Create your event first — the import lives inside the design editor.
- 1
Create your event first
Start a new event on Lemonvite and fill in the details — title, date, and where it is happening. You need an event before there is a design to import into.
- 2
Open the design editor
On your event, go to the design step. This is where you build the invitation guests will see.
- 3
Click the Canva tab and authorize
Open the Canva tab, click Connect Canva, and approve access in the window that opens. You only do this once — Lemonvite can list your designs and export the one you pick, nothing else.
- 4
Pick a design and send
Browse or search your Canva designs and click the one you want. It comes straight in as your invitation image — add text on top if you like, then publish and send by text or email.
A design tool and an invitation platform
Once your Canva design is in, you get everything Lemonvite does — the part that happens after the design is done.
One-click import
Connect once, then click any design to bring it in. No files, no attachments, no re-uploading.
Multi-page picker
Got a multi-page Canva design? Pick the exact page you want as your invitation from a thumbnail grid.
Text & email delivery
Send your invitation by SMS, WhatsApp, or email — or a shareable link with a QR code.
Live RSVP tracking
Guests respond Yes, Maybe, or No from their own link. Headcount and plus-ones update in real time.
Read receipts
See exactly who opened their invitation so you know who to nudge — without blasting everyone.
Add text on top
Layer fonts, colors, and effects over your imported design right in the editor, or send it as-is.
Canva import questions
The short version: design in Canva, import here, send with RSVP.
How do I import a Canva design into Lemonvite?
Create your event first, open the design editor, then click the Canva tab and connect your account. Browse your designs, click one, and it imports as your invitation image. No downloading or re-uploading files.
Does it cost extra to import from Canva?
No. Importing from Canva is included in the one-time event fee with no upsells and no limit on how many designs you import. You only pay the standard fee when you publish your event.
Can guests RSVP to a Canva invitation?
Yes. Once your Canva design is your invitation, every guest gets a private link to view it and RSVP. You see responses, headcount, and read receipts on your dashboard in real time.
Is there a file size limit?
Designs import as a still image up to the standard 4.5MB file size, which is plenty for an invitation. There is no cap on how many different designs you bring in.
Can I import an animated GIF from Canva?
Not directly yet — Canva designs import as a still image, and direct animated import is coming soon. For now you can export a GIF from Canva and use the Upload option in the design editor instead.
What can Lemonvite see in my Canva account?
Only your list of designs and the single design you choose to import. Lemonvite never edits your Canva account and never touches a design you do not pick. You can disconnect any time from the Canva tab.
