Features

Digital invitations with RSVP tracking, and everything that comes with them

Custom designs, sending by email, text and WhatsApp, read receipts, guest list tools, co-hosts and a wall for updates. Every feature below is included in the flat $5 per event. No ads, no upsells.

Custom invitation design

Describe the party and get an invitation made for it. Add your own text, photos and animation, or start from a template for your occasion.

Add photos, logos and a QR code to the design

Place a photo, a logo or a sticker on top of the invitation and drag or resize it into place. Once the event is published, drop in the RSVP QR code so a printed invitation can be scanned.

Added

Invitation templates for every occasion

Browse sample invitations for birthdays, weddings, baby showers, graduations, holiday parties, anniversaries and housewarmings. Open one to copy its design brief or start your own invitation from it.

Animated GIF invitations

Search Giphy from the editor and use an animated GIF as the invitation background.

Added

Design ideas from your event details

Not sure what to ask for? Get four design ideas built from the occasion, the date and the guest of honor’s interests. Expand any of them into a full brief, or keep your own idea and have the details added for you.

Added

A custom design from a short description

Describe the party and the design engine creates an invitation made for it, in a portrait shape that looks right on a phone. Attach a photo to guide the look. No scrolling through thousands of templates.

Added Try it

Your own text, fonts and effects

Add the names, the date and anything else on top of the design, with a choice of fonts, colors, shadows and glow. What you see in the editor is what lands in your guests’ inboxes.

Added

Send invitations by email, text message or WhatsApp

Every guest gets a personal link by the channel that reaches them. Updates go out the same way, to everyone or just the people who need them.

WhatsApp invitations for guests abroad

Guests with a phone number outside the US and Canada get their invitation, updates and sign-in codes on WhatsApp. The guest list marks who is reached that way.

Added

Guest replies land in your inbox

When a guest hits Reply on an invitation or update email, it goes to your email address, not a no-reply mailbox.

Added

Send updates to all guests or just some

Changed the time? Need a headcount? Message guests by email and text from the event page. Send to everyone, or only to those who have not replied, who are attending, or who have not opened the invitation. Updates can go out until two weeks after the event.

Added

Text message invitations

Guests with a phone number get their invitation by SMS with their personal RSVP link, and updates the same way. Guests choose whether they want texts for the event, can opt out by replying STOP, and the guest list shows you who has.

Added

Email invitations with a personal RSVP link

Publish, and every guest with an email gets an invitation showing your design and a link to reply. Guests added later are emailed right away, and you can resend to anyone from the guest list.

Added

RSVP tracking

Guests reply from their link with no account and no app. You see who opened, who answered and how many are coming, as it happens.

Custom RSVP questions

Ask guests what you need to know when they reply: meal choice, song requests, allergies, a ride from the station. Free-text or multiple-choice, required or optional. Answers sit on each guest, arrive in your RSVP emails and come along in the guest list export.

Added

Plus-one limits, per guest or for everyone

Set how many adults and kids each guest may bring, or set one default for the whole event and override it for the few exceptions. The limit shows under the guest’s name and their RSVP form will not accept more.

Added

Cap the total headcount

Give the event a maximum number of attendees. When it is nearly full, guests replying see how many spots remain, and once it is full they are asked to contact you instead.

Added

An email each time a guest replies

Turn on RSVP notifications and every answer arrives in your inbox with the guest’s name, their reply, party size and note. Turn it off when the replies are pouring in.

Added

A QR code for printed invitations

Download a QR code for your public RSVP link as PNG or SVG. Put it on a printed card, a poster or a sign at the door and guests RSVP with their phone camera.

Added

Add to calendar for guests

Guests add the event to Google Calendar or Outlook, or download a calendar file, straight from the invitation.

Added

See who opened their invitation

Every guest gets a unique link, so you know who has opened the invitation and who has not, before they even reply. Share any guest’s link yourself from your phone, and it unfurls with a preview when pasted into a chat.

Added

RSVPs with adults, kids and a note

Guests open their invitation with no account and no app, answer yes, no or maybe, say how many adults and kids are coming and leave a note. Your guest list updates the moment they do.

Added

Guest list management

Build the list from your address book, your phone or a spreadsheet, keep it tidy, and take it with you when the event is over.

Export the guest list as a spreadsheet

Download a CSV with every guest’s name, contact details, RSVP status, party size and answers, ready for Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets. Handy for seating charts and caterers.

Added

Import contacts from Google, your phone or a file

Fill your address book in one go: import from Google Contacts with a preview where you tick who to bring in, pick people from your phone’s contacts on supported browsers, or upload a vCard exported from iPhone or Android.

Added

Archive and restore guests

Take a guest off the list without losing their details, and bring them back later. An archived guest’s link shows that the invitation is no longer active.

Added

Add guests by email, phone or just a name

Type guests in one at a time, or paste a whole list: tab-separated columns, “Name <email>” lines copied from your mail app, several emails on one line. Duplicates are skipped, not stumbled over.

Added

An address book that remembers every guest

Everyone you invite is saved with name, email, phone and notes. Next time, matches appear as you type, or select a group and add them all to an event in one step.

Added

Event details, updates and co-hosts

One page holds everything guests need to know, and the people helping you host can manage it with you.

An event wall for updates and chatter

Every published event has a wall. Post an update and choose whether it also goes out by email or text; guests read, post and reply from their invitation. You decide whether guests can post at all, and hosts can remove any post.

Added

Times shown in the event’s time zone

The event remembers the time zone it was created in, so the invitation, the calendar file and every reminder show the right time to every guest, wherever they are. Multi-day events show the end date too.

Added

Co-hosts

Invite up to 10 co-hosts with a link. They see the event in their own dashboard and can manage guests, edit details and send updates. Publishing and deleting stay with you, and any pending invite link can be revoked.

Added

Invitations you receive, in one place

Your events page lists the invitations you have received alongside the events you host, with your RSVP for each. Save any invitation to your account from its page.

Added

A reminder to plan next year’s event

Turn on the reminder and Lemonvite emails you about a month before the anniversary, so next year’s birthday is not a last-minute scramble.

Added

Invitations for every occasion

Birthdays, weddings, baby showers, graduations, holiday parties, anniversaries, housewarmings, celebrations of life and anything else. The occasion shapes the wording, the design suggestions and the templates you are offered.

Added Try it

Every detail on one invitation page

Date and time, the venue with address lookup and a map link, a link for virtual guests, gift ideas, dress code and a description. Any web address you type becomes a tappable link.

Added

Canva integration

Design in Canva and send with Lemonvite, in either direction.

Send a Canva design as an invitation

Made your invitation in Canva? Pick Lemonvite from Canva’s Share menu, fill in the event details next to a live preview, and the event is created with your design in place, ready for guests and RSVPs.

Plan from your assistant

Connect Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini and run the whole thing from a chat.

Plan with Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini

Connect your assistant to Lemonvite once and plan by chatting: draft the invitation, have the design engine make the artwork, add guests, ask who has not replied, then publish. You approve the connection on a sign-in screen and can disconnect any assistant from Settings.

Added Try it

Sign-in, email settings and privacy

No passwords to remember, and no data kept longer than it is useful.

Start an invitation without an account

Pick the occasion, fill in the details and choose a design before you sign in. Your progress is kept in the browser, and the draft is saved to your account the moment you do.

Added Try it

Old events are deleted automatically

Events more than 60 weeks past are removed along with their guest lists and images, so your guests’ details do not sit around longer than needed. Delete an event yourself any time before that.

Added

Choose which emails you get

Invitations, updates, reminders and follow-ups are separate categories you can turn off one by one, and the unsubscribe link in each email turns off just that kind. Guests without an account get the same choices.
